The Grundy County 4-H Fair Board is excited to announce several new additions to the 4-H Fair this year! With the help and fundraising of the Grundy County Clover Supporters, we will be offering many ways to help financially with 4-H projects for the 2024 4-H Fair through grants and awards. This will include both Livestock and General Projects.
This letter will help explain how 4Her’s can apply for these grants, as well as help everyone understand what new awards will be given out at the 2024 Grundy County 4-H Fair. In addition to this letter, members of the Fair Board will be attending 4-H club meetings to help answer any questions. We understand there might be a few bumps in the road along the way, as there usually are with new ideas. Please know we are here to help with anything that may come up, and are all ears on how to make this new opportunity even better for our 4-Her’s!
How to Apply for Grants
All the grants listed below have an application on Google Forms that will need to be completed by the 4-H member wanting to receive a grant. A 4-H’er can apply for multiple grants, however they will need to fill out an application for each specific type of livestock or general project grant they would like to receive. Please note, these grants are being offered to members who are eligible to show at the 2024 4-H Fair (Cloverbuds are not eligible for any 2024 grants).
Applications through Google Forms will be available online and in this email. If you are unable to fill out the Google Form, you can also get a copy of the application through club leaders, county 4-H Fair board members, and the extension office. The due date for applications will be on the form.
